At home, we all read through the entire Bible at a rate of one chapter per day, five days a week - five chapters in five days. You can do this individually, as a couple or the entire family. If you miss a chapter or two, you can always catch up on the weekend. Then, on Sunday mornings, after the sermon, we take a five-minute break and afterwards hold a session called 5x5. During this time, a rotation of teachers leads us each week through an interactive lesson (questions and answers) on the five chapters we studied at home that week. This way, we don't just read through the whole Bible - we actually study through it together. The process takes about four and a half years. It's like going to Bible college... at church and home... it's brilliant!!
