Outreach & Missions
All the ministries we support are gospel centered
Sharing the gospel and discipling friends, family & others
Our Basic Discipleship class is a great way to share the gospel (lesson one) and disciple others in the basics of Christianity. Our Discipleship 101 class has five lessons that allows an individual or couple to disciple others in person or via online video chat. All the notes are self-explanatory and available for download from our website. You’ll be surprised at how many people you already know (family, friends, co-workers etc.) who may be open to sitting with you over coffee and going through the course. Just pray about it...then ask them...set the dates and do it! You don’t even need to live near each other... since you could even do it via online chat!
If they are out of town, be sure to point them to a good church in their area afterwards! Lesson 1: What is the Gospel? Lesson 2: What actually happens at Salvation? Lesson 3: What is Baptism all about? Lesson 4: Can a person lose Salvation? Lesson 5: How important is it to persevere in the faith? The American Bible Society
Our church promotes donations towards the American Bible Society. The objective is to ensure that every person, everywhere in the world has access to God's life changing Word in their own native tongue. Bibles are distributed to anyone, from US military troops, Villages in Africa and Asia to Businesspeople in Europe or Australasia. Donations can be made at any time throughout the year, yet annually we will hold a special Bible drive.

Gospel tracts, booklets, door hangers & Church business cards
On the table at the door as you enter the Worship Center each Sunday, you’ll find several gospel tracts, booklets, door hangers or church business cards for distribution. Please help yourself!
Keep some in your car door compartment, in your handbag or coat pocket. You may be intentional about handing them out or be prepared when an unexpected opportunity arises. Whenever, however, wherever you go... hand them out and spread the wonderful News of the Gospel! |
Bottles for Babies - with Choices Resouce Center
A ministry helping young women who face unplanned pregnancy since 1992.
Families or individuals take a bottle home or to work and place it in a visible spot, like the kitchen counter or breakfast table. This way they have a reminder to pray for the safety and salvation of fathers, mothers and their children. Also, folks can put their change, checks or cash in the bottle as an offering to help individuals who seek assistance through Choices Resource Center. Your kids could do extra chores to raise funds too and make them part of it. Bottles are available at church every Sunday and are collected on Mother’s Day each year. All money collected will be used to support outreach to young men, women and their babies through Choices Resource Center. There are other opportunities available to minister at Choices too. Prayer, helping advertise the ministry, providing a meal for a parenting class, collecting / donating new/like new items needed for moms (maternity) and babies. KARM & Corners of your Field
If you have lived in Knoxville for just a little while you should be familiar with KARM stores - The Knox Area Rescue Mission.
What you may not know is: “Corners of your Field” is a Church partnership opportunity with KARM. Whenever you donate anything to KARM you can do it in the name of our church. Our church earns credits which are turned into KARM store gift cards sent to us. We use these gift cards to help others in need. “When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field or gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the needy and for the stranger.” – Lev. 23:22 More info: https://karm.org/corners-of-your-field |
