Over the last two years we have memorized the following passages: John 3:16-21, Titus 3:3-7, Ephesians 2:1-10 & Romans 1:16-17.
All passages listed are ESV, but you can memorize them from the translation you are most comfortable with.
We are all sinners.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Thus, we are all under penalty of sin.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
God’s holiness demands this penalty must be paid.

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

Christ paid it by living a perfectly holy life, shedding His blood, and taking God’s wrath due for us. GOOD NEWS!

But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

Pleased, God raised Jesus from the dead.

that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,

We must repent and believe in Jesus.

and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Mark 1:15
We are no longer condemned.
November 2021
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1
Jesus is the only way to salvation.

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
