What to Expect
​on Sundays & Wednesdays

What about my kids?
Babies & Pre-schoolers: Gather in the Nursery (directly opposite the adult meeting hall). You may arrive up to 20 minutes early to allow your child time to settle in. Leaders will meet with parents as you enter. After the service parents/guardians must collect their own children... your child will only be released to you. ​
Elementary Age: Join with adults for the Music & Prayer part of the service then exit to their meeting room across from the Adult meeting area. 
Elementary kids will come back to into the service after the sermon and sit with thier parents/guardian for the 'memory verse' end of service. 
Middle/High Schoolers: Join with the Adults in the Service. 

What do Sunday's look like?

Sunday's Service lasts about an hour...

We sing to the Lord Together (10 minutes)
We enjoy music worship, but it doesn’t take up a large portion of the service time. There are 2 leaders who rotate each week, thereby bringing a different flavor each Sunday

We learn the Word Together (about 30 minutes)
Our pastor’s style of preaching is expository - meaning he reads the passage and then explains the meaning verse by verse. This enables us to get to know the Bible and not just hear a sermon about it. He includes humor and personal and relevant illustrations making learning fun.
 
We grow in the Word Together (about 15 minutes)
After the sermon, one of our Bible Teachers (rotating each week), lead the cogregation through a summary of 5 Bible chapters. The  congregation will be familiar with these passages since each member privately read them at home over the past 5 days in their own 'quiet time.' 
*Everyone is encouraged to read the same Bible passages during the week.  
1 chapter a day for 5 days a week  i.e.  5 days / 5 chapters
We call this 5 x 5  or 5 by 5.

We remember the Word Together (about 3 minutes)
Finally we recite the month’s memory verse together. This is a fun and lighthearted few minutes where part or all of the verse on the screen is hidden until we recite it from memory. Since we cover the same verse for a month, everyone finally gets it!

We gather for Communion Service (The Lord's Table) once a quarter, which allows the Worship Service to be extended by about 10 minutes.

Where are the Restrooms?
No worries! There are four restrooms all directly across from our meeting room. A Ladies Room; a Men's Room and ​Two Family restrooms with changing tables 
- ​wheelchair accessible.

What do Wednesday's look like?

Ladies (7pm) & Men (6pm)  meet every 'other week'
​on opposite Wednesdays in Life Groups

Life Groups
Life group is a 1 ½ to 2 hour small group meeting. Ladies & Men's groups meet every 'other' week on Wednesday evenings (not every week), allowing more room for family life.
Ladies & Men's groups meet separately allowing for deep relationships to be built within the church.
Ladies & Men also meet on opposite Wednesdays, allowing for mom or dad to spend 'date night' with their  kids while their spouse attends a meeting.
Life groups meet in Homes  or ​Coffee Shops/Restaurants.

What do you do @ Life Group?
Everyone is encouraged to read the same Bible passages privatly at home before the meeting. 
​Just 1 chapter a day for 5 days.
​We call this  five by five or (5x5).
At Life Group we re-visit these chapters, and discover: 

1. What the passages says... 
2. What the passages means... 
​3. How to apply these principles in my life?

​Ladies Life Groups: Every other Weds @ 7pm
Men's Life Groups: Every other Weds @ 6pm
(Ladies & Men meet on opposite Wednesdays)
